What’s more: For a text to convince its readers, it needs to be idiomatic. In other words, it should sound like it was composed in the language, not translated from another. That is the key to mutual understanding.

Interpreting
Prices for translations are based on the volume, difficulty and topic of the text in question. Calculations are generally based on the number of standard lines in the source text. A standard line is composed of 55 characters including blank spaces. In case of special formats and projects (e.g., presentations) prices may also be quoted based on the number of words or the time taken to complete the project in hours.
Proofreading and revision services are billed on an hourly basis.
Interpreting services are invoiced per day or half day. This covers the preparation for the assignment and the order-specific research required. Travel costs and other expenses may also apply.
Urgent jobs (within 24 hours) or jobs to be performed outside of normal working hours may be subject to an express fee.
